After one hundred years of manufacturing shoes by hand in England, Alfred Sargent and Sons Limited have opened their first retail shop. We now have the opportunity to extend the care and attention we lavish on the creation of our shoes to present them in our own retail space. We have found the ideal property in the delightful Suffolk market town of Bury St Edmunds, close to the town centre.
Visitor's to our new shop will find it to be a relaxing environment where they can peruse our range, seek advice from our knowledgeable staff and be fitted expertly for shoes.
We also stock selected British made items that reflect the timeless qualities of Alfred Sargent. Initially this will be luggage from Tustings Fine Luggage, Ladies items from the Julie Slater Leather Collection and sheepskin gloves and slippers by Nursey of Bungay.
In 2007 we will introduce an online store, where customers can create an account with us that will store their size details and present them with all suitable fittings. We will also have internet only promotions and offers.
